Carcass yield typically averages 40–50% of live weight, depending on breed, condition, and quality of the livestock — a useful benchmark whether you’re buying for meat production or resale. Cattle pricing and availability are generally based on common commercial breeds; certain breeds and premium-quality livestock may differ. Exotic livestock in particular varies according to breed and availability at the time. And because availability is always subject to stock on hand, if a specific category you’re after isn’t available when you enquire, our team will do our best to source suitable livestock for you.
